That's good to hear. I was almost afraid I had something too odd about my install.

In any case, this means that it does work with DBW 1.71, with the correct combination or lack of mods ...

I'm, having the same problem even with a vanilla Modact306 install.
Don't know what the deal is, Don't recall having to do anything special
to get this mod to work.

I got the zip to open and I tried these in my DBW but all so far keep crashing my game when the aircraft starts to load in a qmb mission.

Have you tried an FMB mission yet? I know that the fastest way to see if the game works is to do a quick QMB, but just to check it out, see what happens in FMB ...

Just tried that, FMB locked up as soon as I selected a map(stock one).
I'm thinking this copy that I have may be "hosed", I wasn't having these
problems previously.

I'm running TFM in DBW 1.7.1 without Plutonium and cockpit sounds, I loaded the newer version and it runs just fine.  I have AG's older version I will try later, I'm guessing this is an offline only mod,or everyone needs to have it for it to work.

The formation mod is just about essential to the game.
It makes it possible to create formations of, not just the game's stock 4 aircraft, but of hundreds of aircraft at any one time.
You can also set formation shapes.

And some aircraft, like B-17's, now default to the bomber box formation.
Very nice as someone who shoots at them  :D
