From what info i have upon German jets, the description of ceramic WW2 German blades was not much, from the pics and design, and suggestion within the info, they tried ceramic forming- shaped forged/pressings, that were mated to a metal foot, and testing revealed thermal co-efficient problems, along with bonding and expansion problems at operating temperatures - although some of the tested parts were ran (in aiflow & operational simulations of engines), rpm and vibrational limitations negated any benefits considering that German jets were restricted by design to low compression ratio's and thus hence low thermal and fuel efficiencies from their designs.
Note; My memory pulled info from German Gas Turbines & Jets 1930 - 1945

I don't know if they got as far as trying sinstering/heat & pressure forging powdered elements/materials into solids; if they did, they were perhaps only just starting out in that avenue and had a heck load of R&D to get through; which in the modern times, we have only just finished (publically at least) within the last 20 years.

Through clever application of science and engineering. It's not actually that complicated, just a case of balancing the torques and thrust lines. Here, this'll bugger with your head:

Dear Mikoyan 99
simple to an expert maybe - but I could never figure it.
with just one off-centre engine, wouldnt it need constant trim changes, whenever you moved the throttle?
-  a bit like flying a twin, with one engine stopped?
In other words, not much fun!
Still, it's a wondrous machine, and Il2 is the better for its inclusion.  A beautiful & fascinating mod !!
