Thanks Max. Trying to watch the blood pressure ;) I read the thread you linked, but I'm a little confused. They talk about Freddy's pit mod being 400mb, yet the provided link is only 7and change MB. The D/L only contains the P-47-25. The "fix" as I understand it, is to copy the classfiles in Freddy's pit mod into the jugs reloaded. Also, to put Freddy's P-47D-25 folder in Jug's cockpit folder. Her's my problem: The Freddy pit D/L has no classfiles. As I mentioned, the only file in the D/L was the P-47D-25, and I didn't see any classfiles with that. I should also mention, that like the poster in the thread you linked, I also have the same issue with the MkII. All other pits work as expected. Thanks for your help. I'm sure this is a fairly simple issue (I hope LOL) that could be ironed out. Thanks again.

Tried to install this in VP Modpack. It looks like it works, except for the P-47D-27 cockpit. With this, I have no instruments, only the needle pointers. I read the thread with Freddy's P47 pits, and a poster posted a screenie of the same issue. I think it is from one of the classfiles that is common between both these pit mods. If anyone can put me on the right track to resolve this, or let me know if it will even work with VP Mod Pack, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Perhaps somewhere in your install of this P-47 "Jugs Reloaded"  mega-pack  into the VP-Modpack you placed something in the wrong place?
This is what I have and see in my VP-Modpack for the P47-D-27.

Some meg-packs must be placed in a certain order of folder in your VP-Modpack. otherwise you will have conflicts with other mod-airplanes.

This screenshot of my game folders (from a few weeks ago) should give you an idea as to where this P-47 mega-pack is located at.
I have named my folder --  #00_P-47_JugsFamily_412

I am happy that suggestion worked for you.

Now remember this, if you re going to install another cockpit version for any of these P-47
you will have to make a folder with a name that will load first before the one you have now.
For example...

#00_P-47_Cockpits_New_412 <---- This will be for your new cockpit retextures+any new fixes+any upgrades
#00_P-47_JugsFamily_412 <----- This is for the Jugs Reloaded P-47 Family mega-pack upgrade

I will be posting an updated version of the stock P47 cockpits in a day or two. I want to check for compatibility issues first.
Thanks

Hi Poncho!

Great news about an update of your T-bolt cockpit! Could you take a look at my post (Reply #156) in this topic: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,39846.156.html
I described a problem regarding Manifold Pressure Gauge in your cockpit. I hope you will fix it with this update ;)

Best regards

Sure.  I can revisit that. It has been a while since I worked on the gauges. If I remember correctly I used reference material for the A2A Wings of Power P47s as the basis for my alterations. You provide some good evidence for your case though, so I will take a look.

Nice to hear (read) that! ;)
It seems that somebody (admin) removed a picture with historical data I added to a reply #157 :( But no worries, cause I can send it via e-mail.

If I remember correctly I used reference material for the Wings of Power P47s for MSFS as the basis for my alterations.

A bite strange, cause on this movie you can see that after turning on the engine the needle of MP gauge drops from 30 (1 ATA) even to 10 (during warming up the engine - idle condition).

Anyway, for me the best reference material is the P-47 Pilot notes (USAF manual) or the movies like this one below, where you can see the real thing working.

Regards ;)

Sorry for the delay,

I have been testing compatibility of my P47 cockpit mod with other P47 mods and I have run into an issue of late model P47's not loading with my mod activated. The P-47D10, D22, D27, and D-late work as intended. The earlier models P-47B, C's and Tbolt Mk I and II also seem to work. However, the P-47D30, D40, N, M, and TBolt II-late do not. I think the conflict is with Storbrors Jugs Reloaded mod which is widely used and I believe built in to the BAT game version. The Jugs Reloaded mod essentially unified the P47 class files to allow all P47 mods to access them. My problem is that activation of my cockpit mod will replace class file versions in the jugs mod that are required for P-47D30, D40, M, and N models. I am trying to sort this out.

I may still put up a link for the mod, but you will have to consider it a beta version until I can resolve this.

No worries Poncho!
Please, let us download this beta version! We will put it to the test so you will get a proper feedback. It will be much easier for you than to do everything by yourself.

Regards ;)
