Oh Yeah, now were talking !  8) I love those classic actresses. They had style !

Here is my list of the top 5...

1- Marilyn Monroe - The all time most recognizable face on this planet. Besides being a fine actress which no
one really noticed while she was alive (she really is a great actress/singer) She just oooooozes with tender sensuality from
her every skin pore that no other actress could have ever match. Many other women have tried , but Marilyn is still the one
who could do it just right.

2 - Katherine Hepburn - Did you REALLY look at this girl when she was a young actress? She is amazing looking, and besides
her good looks, she is still ranked as Hollywoods best actress EVER. All others come second place. Beauty, brains and good looks,
Katherine add it all when she was younger.

3- Grace Kelly - Not just another pretty face, she is also one of the best actress ever.

4 - Vivian Leigh - Another beauty with alot of brains. Only a British actress of her category could stand up and deliver a performance
in "Gone With the Wind" portraying an American Southern Belle with such style... no British accent in that film either! She had style.

5 - Louise Brooks - Way back in the late 1920 and 1930s she was the woman that every other woman wanted to be!
She was not considered a fine actress but her beauty and unique hair-style launched a million wanna-be Louise Brooks! She
is still a beauty no matter what year we are living at.

I'll dig up some beauties for you...

Capucine

Rita Hayworth

Greta Garbo

Hedy Lamarr - also a highly qualified scientist , she shares the patent on an essential component common to cellular telephones - no joke!

Gene Tierney

And you cannot forget the striking Lauren Bacall

So much beauty and so little time to appreciate it.
Appreciate it.

Here's a quick addition...Lucille Ball.
Though she was a comedienne , it doesn't take too much looking to realize how beautiful she was , and at the advent of colour photography in films , Hollywood cinematographers took to referring to her as "Technicolor Tessie" due to the fantastic colour palette of her skin , eyes , lips and hair.

Top three.
Audrey Hepburn and Katharine Hepburn and Ingrid-Bergman.

They show less which was more back in the day.

True, Uzin, but most of us aren't familiar with Soviet actresses, more's the pity. There are some gorgeous ladies in "Tikhii Don" for instance.......
