Maybe give it an FM similar to that of a helicopter?

Thank you DreamK for this most welcomed slot for the Zeppelin and other aircraft. This way we can still keep the
original German R-Bombers (The Giant Bombers that Beo created).

At the moment I am almost finished with the new set of exterior skins for this Zeppelin, I will make the final tests tomorrow and
will post them up for everyone. I was lucky with my researches into these Zeppelins and how they were painted. I have looked into
about 7 great books and many websites and forums looking for valuable information.
Even tho they look silvery in color, they are not. No silver dope was used during the WW1 years on Zeppelins, only after the war.
Instead the
airships were made with a cloth colored grey with small threads of blue, this made the airships look almost like a silvery grey color, also
some had black camouflage paint and some others had very odd camoflauge-life motifs painted on them. While even others were all
painted black overall, including the gondolas underneath.
No zeppelins of this type were light beige brown.
Beige-brown coloring was for other zeppelin types at the beggining of 1910-1914 years.
At around 1915+ some of these types of zeppelins were of a dark brown color (perhaps this was color of the cloth and the varnish used on them),
but this proved to be not good for combat so they
started to use the grayish cloth color with blue threads and also painting them black for night-bombing missions.

In my previous test-screenshots of the interior, I have found new informations that shed new light on how they looked on the inside, so
part of the interior skins I have already begun painting will have to be re-painted all over again. I will try to make it as close to the real
look as I can possibly make them.
Stay tuned, and I will post the new skins for you soon.

Cheers

It may also fit the current, but with the speed of climb very higth, takeoff, horizontal and much more slowly, and roll less noticeable.
the FM helicopters do not have arms and body roll is very evident apart from these two flaws seems to be the most similar.

Happy new years GIO.

gio963tto,

I want to thank you very much for bringing the Zeppelin Class P to IL-2. It looks great both inside and out. Sounds great too.

Also, I want to thank Dreamk for giving it a slot of its own.

However, I had to put it on autopilot to get the engines to start. Pressing "I" did not work. Please tell me the correct procedure for starting the engines.

Cheers,

You have to select engine one then I to start it and so on to number four then hit the key you have set for select all engines. Take off from ground doesnt seem to work out well though. :) BOOM! :)

Bombsaway,

Previously, my game was set up for a maximum of only two engines. I've set it up for four and now, I can start up the Zeppelin's engines. Thanks for your comments.
