Is it possible using two types of on one map?
« on: December 29, 2012, 12:20:23 PM »

Hello gentlemen,

I like to use two types of wood, for the future poland map. On old maps I am using, I saw monoculture forests like sk_Wood can be used for it and more natural woods.

My question: Is it possible to get

Quote
[WOOD]
Wood0 = forest/summer/sk_Wood0.tga
Wood1 = forest/summer/sk_Wood1.tga
Wood2 = forest/summer/sk_Wood2.tga
Wood3 = forest/summer/sk_Wood3.tga
Wood4 = forest/summer/sk_Wood4.tga

[FIELDS]
Wood0 = forest/summer/sk_forestgr.tga
Wood1 =
Wood2 = forest/summer/sk_forestfar.tga
Wood3 =

and

Quote
[WOOD]
Wood0 = forest/summer/Wood0.tga
Wood1 = forest/summer/Wood1.tga
Wood2 = forest/summer/Wood2.tga
Wood3 = forest/summer/Wood3.tga
Wood4 = forest/summer/Wood4.tga

[FIELDS]
Wood0  = forest/summer/forestGr.tga
Wood1  =
Wood2  = forest/summer/ForestFar.tga
Wood3  =

on one map? Perhabs I have to do another way to do it?

Not sure how that is going to work out. For one thing, I would think that the "wood mask" texture only applies to tiles which are RGB24. For another thing, the [wood] classification layers the forestGr and wood textures to make the appearance of a forest.
