During 1940 New Zealand took part in Lord Beaverbrooks "Spitfire fund", the round figure of £5000 was given for the cost of a Spitfire.
New Zealand was a small country population wise (1.5 Million) and during August 1940 and March 1941 raised £156,767.05
and 18 MkIIa and Vb spitfires were allocated to No485(nz)Squadron.

This pack features 10 Aircraft as they were seen during late 1941 with Green/brown camouflage, sky band, yellow leading edge, type B markings.
