I had an old 4.08 install not so long ago because I didn't want to go through the hassle of installing a new super-mod and wiping all my new mods. Safe to say, though, installing DBW was the best thing I ever did with IL2.
But to each their own.  ;D

Personally, I think the best music is a Sidewinder's lock tone.  But to each their own I suppose :P

4.09m with the old UP2.01 mods on top here!! I have added a lot of planes that work with 4.09/UP2.01 from here over the last two or three years too.

I spent countless hours gettnig my 4.09 just right. I never even installed UP. Everything was done 'by hand'. When 4.10 came out I tried to transfer it all but the job was just too big and 4.10 kept giving me unexplained crashes.
