great work! I love the J-planes !

but before install I'd like to know if the 3D updates are compatible with all old skins?

I think No, and that's why I don't understand all this "Hhippyee" attitude: I think JP make in good proposal his change in almost-not-noticeable shape of Japan planes, but for game compatibility all those skinmod create more problems than final benefit

Thank God!!! I finally got the 4.09 patch of the mod and can fly the beautiful Ki-61s. Thank you Japan Cat.
At the same time, Japan Cat please take into consideration my comments about the nose sections of the Ki-61. Although, I remember that this patch is still a beta version.

And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if possible add

Ki-61-II Kai Otsu (4 x 20 mm cannons)
Ki-61-I Tei bomber killer version (Ki-61-I Kai D) with two wing Ho-155M2 (Ho-105) cannons and nose 12.7 mm machineguns. Maybe you can designate it "Ki-61-I Tei Kai." Given that the Ki-61-II Kai Late and Ki-61-I Tei models are already available, I think it shouldn't be difficult to carry out the necessary modifications.

Thanks in advance

how much trouble do you have to go through to make a skin folder and paste a ton of skins into it, it is a 30 second inconvenience and is beneficial in the long run as you won't have to run around and do it later when somebody makes a set of kick-ass skins, such as 200th Kajinami has made. as for 3d I noticed the aircraft were larger had more rudder area and a slightly lengthened wing, as well as that saying a plane with a cut down fuselage is a slight change makes you an even bigger idiot, Japan cat worked hard to make such an excellent 3d and judging by my Java experience he would have had an awful time making it work correctly so if you can
1. make better 3d planes and get them in the game, please do so without criticizing others
2. if you have another way of making planes look different without those 'problematic skin mods' I'm all ears to your solution

I don't understand all this "Hhippyee" attitude ... almost-not-noticeable ..create more problems ...

Why do you put JapanCats work down?

You did it here:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,20415.msg220522.html#msg220522
and now you post the same here?

What is your problem?

Sir, how can you tell "you put Japancat work down" ? WHERE have you seen this in ANY mine post? please anyone READ BETTER what I wrote before flame me.
And about Japancat work (that I -repeat- admire the guy in the intention) I also TRY TO CLARIFY:  all those changes Japancat made are good till they REMAIN a MOD and anyone can free select or not select, I hope not to have now another mess up in stock skins like we had in "Zero's" series just to have a little detail corrected even not noticeable while playing.
Hope it's clear my attitude about this tread. cheers.
Thank You.

:-[ gents here: I'm very sorry that my post seem to be "rude" or seem I not appreciate the work of any modder here. -- this is not true , and I invite to search in the forum how many times I thanks people for their submission of mods here in the forum. can only tell may be really a problem of language sometimes for me to explain my opinion.. However i'm ITALIAN , so not english native ..and italians keep some particular charateristics when they want to explain with core their opinions. Hope anyone is NOT offended by me now & for the future ..and I take care  to  use "english" diplomacy for the future to explain my opinions here  ;) cheers.
