I can find many interesting maps by agracier in BAT. Some of them are really unique as they cover areas untouched by other mapmakers: Arkhangelsk, Madagaskar, Dodecanese archipelago, some Middle East and African regions, etc.

I like obscure places and areas with lots of terrain features like mountains and different types of terrain. Islands are also great to do because the actual land terrain is small in size, so more attention can be given to placing textures. They also need less populating by objects ...

I wish I could make aircraft for the game, that is what I'd rather be busy with, making the planes I find interesting (and obscure). But that is way way above my abilitiese. Map making is essentially nothing but graphics manipulation, like editing a photo or a scan of a drawing. That I understand at least ...

There is now a retextured version of this map available. New textures have been added, replacing old ones. No object or airfield or such has been changed.

I am essentially a lazy enough person ... so, no changing things that involves too much effort ... ha ha
