Morane-Saulnier L
« on: February 14, 2013, 01:44:16 PM »

This plane is very necessary for Russian WWI air force. If anybody want to make it, thanks to you.
This plane is very good enemy for Fokker E.III too.

To me this request makes more sense than the Sikorsky.
Both planes were started by DreamK (dunno their status) so if anybody wants to start this project contact him first please.

Hi, vpmedia, I'd like to see it in the game too. I think Dreamk had one in the pipeline. I guess it'll be released some time. SAS~Skipper also has some WWI planes he is working on. I guess they will appear one fine day too. Often these things appear out of the blue, with no WIP/Request threads. It all adds up to a very pleasant surprise.

cheers

The the post is from 2011 and now its 2013 and  those are DreamK's planes not Skippers ;)
I got a Morane L on my PC right now but it needs to be finished by a 3d/java guys.
DreamK asked us to finish the damage and hitboxes and I submitted the stuff for modeller but still waiting (1/4 year has past but I'm bit embarassed to ask) so if anyone is willing to work on 3d now is the time, I can take care only of the texture related problems.

Hi vpmedia. I guessed the projects had been in limbo for a while. Now that everyone has been made aware of them again, perhaps some volunteers will step forward. As these were started by DreamK, the basics will be excellent anyway. So would be modders will have a somewhat easier job. Even so, I'm sure it won't necessarily be a piece of cake.

As for what Skipper has in the pipeline; who knows? If there's anything, its appearance will doubtless come as a pleasant surprise. And any bugs will be ironed out fairly quickly.

cheers

Negative, Skipper left long before I returned late last year and DreamK is busy with real life.
None of them is working on any projects for DBW-1916 right now. What I got is a beta of this plane and its available for finishing. Currently only Gio and SAS Friction are working on ww1 related projects I know about.

Skipper left long before I returned
Therefore I asked.

It really would be nice to have him here again.
I liked him very much.
But after his daughter died he left
and we lost contact.  :(

OK, vpmedia, I understand. Let's hope real life will go easy on DreamK soon. I was saddened to hear of Skippers' bereavement in another post. That's a terrible thing for anyone to bear.

cheers
