Wasted - I just want to say thank you for your work on this. What you are working on with deployable infantry is going to see our precious IL-2 climb to new heights! Do you have any information to tease us with? And no, I am not asking for a release date :) :)

BT~wasted

I have only just caught up with this thread, and it sounds amazing to be able to insert infantry into position, really opens up a new area of the game.

I was wondering theoretically, without knowing the workings of the infantry code, would it be possible to implement a similar deployment for parachute and glider infantry?

Not a request, just enquiring about the limits of the code.

AI flies the heli in a really weird way, sometimes I even saw them stick in the air not moving and i don't think they are hovering  :)
Anyway it's a great step for IL2 to get into the helicopter's world although so far i haven't been able to learn to fly a heli.
Besides your idea of inserting soldiers into the heli makes the game even more funny :D :D

Mi-8 and Mi-8 AI are the same aircraft, the thing is that Mi-8AI is the one which AI can fly.

That's my opinnion

Yes, that's the problem, the AI would not fly the heli in a normal way
