AEG C.IV

The AEG CIV is one of the best scouts used in the midwar on all fronts including Palestine, withdrawn from the front line in late 1917, it was used as a trainer,
the folders named AEG-CIV contains the original scout, one appointed AEG-NI contains the night bomber developed and used in the winter of '17 Spring '18. (of course when you can use only one of two)
In the arm folders you Have a 12,5kg PUW and 50kg puw ,one is for the CIV (12,5x4 max payload)
the other is for the NI (max payload is 300kg but you have the standar payload 50kgx4).

What I have to enter in STD /Air.ini and other files.

Nothing this will replace your Nieuport 12. This aircraft hasn't got own slot. You just have to drop it into the #DBW 1916 folder.

You need to rename the folder inside 3do/plane because theres two versions. (AEG-NI_ U-2VEX1(it) -> U-2VEX1(it)).

Ingame you'll find it in the Nieuport 12 Italy slot.

My God!

I didn't know this plane. Is that winspan not exagerated? A biplane with that wingspan is kind of a comet. Going against the wind shold habe been very difficult.

Hi, Pablo, it was in the Western Front Patch for Red Baron 3D. I'd forgotten how long the wings are. No Allied fighter pilots will be on patrol before lunch time today. They're all recovering from hangovers caused by all the partying last night over the advent of a new two seater.

Ok - Here's the slot for these planes - for those who use SASmodact and have not installed DBW1916
I have edited the java and 3do folders to include:

1) Both versions (AEG C.IV and C.IV.N) now available simultaneously

2) German WW1 PuW bombs instead of ww2 FAB bombs (folder included in the archive with the necessary java and 3Do by Loku for all the PuW bomb series)

3) Spandau MGs instead of Lewis/Vickers (folder ww1 weapons included for those who have not yet installed it)

4) Dedicated cockpits (pilot and gunner) so Gio can now edit them and create more suitable AEG CIV cockpits

The FM is still the original one - U-2VSLBB.fmd included in SAS button  - a more realistic FM needs to be created
