Ok - then open skin1o.tgb in irfan and save as skin1o.tga,
or copy skin1o.tgb and rename to skin1o.tga and add to summer folder.

Cheers Ranwers I'm actually set at 'high' as my rigs an old girl now - I went in and set 'objects detail' to 'excellent' and it shows up and flys but only after deleting the '-' from effects. I will take your suggestion tho as I assume this will allow me to once again use 'high' as my universal graphics setting??

All four skins are neccesary to make mod work properly: skin1o.tgb, skin1o.tga, skin1p.tga, skin1q.tga.
Depend on your graphic setting,game will use skin1o.tgb for perfect and excelent mode and skin1o.tga for high and lower settings.
My advice is to take skin1o.tgb resize down to 512x512 size and save as skin1o.tga.

Cheers guys - phew not come across this problem before, are these skins supposed to be for the HD skin mod ?? I've resized and all ok in high now

No,they are standrad 1024 size,same as stocks, just because your graphic settings are low game use lower resolution 512 size skin.

Hi just an update I can only view the skin if I select 'excellent' in objects detail, if I leave the setting as normal I get the damage skin only ?? Thats after a resize to 512x512. I note the new skin1o.tga overwrites the one aleady in the folder (Ranwers Cheerleader) and leaves the skin1o.tgb in place - is this correct ?? or should I delete the .tgb version ??

BTW, I've been trying to find out if its actually LOIRE and not LIORE - the internets pretty inconclusive as both appear in different references ??
