Bit confused here. Which is the correct FM for DBW 1.7/Il-2 4.10? The one which appears at reply no. 137 (on page 12 of this thread) or some other (for example, in the first post)?

Also, as far as the FM which appears at reply no. 137, contained therein is a folder entitled "FM_410_buttonsSAS" with a file "LEO451_FM" inside and a separate file (outside the folder) which also reads "LEO451_FM". Which one should be installed? I also presume that the file "FAE5FEA0B49E5C12" is to be placed in the _Leo451 folder as well, correct?

Sorry, which is correct?

a.) Install the FM which appears at reply no 137?

b.) Then install the file inside "FM_410_buttonSAS" or

c.) Install the separate file entitled "LEO451_FM" and

d.) Place "FAE...." in the _Le0451 folder?

And finally, was this FM designed to stop the ai slowly, but surely, losing altitude then crashing?

Thanks.

btasm et.al for DBW, way I did it is drop the _Leo 451 INTO #DBW then download the attachment at very bottom of download page for 410_b2.7z users.(---I used the one that was downloaded 462 times) If you look at very bottom of _Leo451 there is FAE5FEA0B49E5C12 and LEO451FM. I deleted both those files. Now, back to the For_410_Users clip attachment d/l, Iopened the file and found FAE5FEA0B49E5C12 and LEO451FM. I copy and pasted those files to replace the original files and it worked. Of course, I had to do all the other routine stuff like the .ini file copy n paste etc.

>>>I know it seems like they must be the same files, but apparently they're not. Only Ranwers can can answer this I think. But I am somewhat illiterate in this kind of computer work, the whys are for greater minds. All I know is that this worked for me. Good luck.
Hope this helps somebody to get this beautiful bird flying ;)
