Yeah, we need to know what mods you are running.

But it seems to me that you don't have the right version of AI Engines Hotkeys mod. You need version 2.6RC.

OK, I'm in DBW 1.71 with these mods activated in JSGME:

#DBW_CirXs_POV_MoD
#DBW-Forgotten Countries Full
True Color Textures for DBW 1916
True Color textures for DBW
High Resolution Texture DLLs
#DBW_6DOF NormalMouse by PAL

spitfire, it's essential that you also have the AI Engines Hotkeys mod, version 2.6RC, as previously mentioned.
without it, you will have the sort of problems you are experiencing.
find it here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,23327.0.html    :)

make sure to install the 2.6 RC version, not the 2.5 version.

After you made sure you have the latest 2.6 engine mod, you'll notice you have more keys to assign in controls, the ones you are looking for are just under weapons. Assign missile selection and deploy flares to whichever key you like and you're good to go.

2.6 mod here:
https://www.mediafire.com/?kuxc0kv8kuofl35

(It states DBW 1.7 includes these features but some, like those you need for the Mi-24's update, are still missing and added by 2.6).

It does help to read the instructions that come with it too

Why does the heli spins like crazy (by crazy, it means, like a turning propeller at full speed) after it gets heavily damaged on the tail?

It's called auto rotation, have you never seen a helo lose it's tail rotor? No?

Yeah i know that, but it turns in a exaggerating way. try losing the tail ingame and see what im referring to......

Letome, it was already mentioned in the initial post that this feature is still in early stages, and still needs to be improved upon.
so, please accept it for what it is now, an early beta feature.
in time, it will be improved. ;)

I've also added autorotation when your tail is shot off, but it is still buggy and will be improved in next update.

Is it that hard to read what is stated? Or it is easier to post stupid questions? And I think I've stressed that you must read the first post.

From now on any stupid question will be ignored. If you don't want to help yourself, no one can help you, sorry.

OK, I've downloaded the SAS Engine v2.6 and put the folder !SAS_Engine_Mod_4101m_v26 in my #DBW folder and I still have the same problem.
