hmmm..strange. Maybe you have the old version of AI_Engines mod? Or maybe two versions are mixed up in your install?

warning: may be a coincidence, but my firefox browser suffered a bad malware invasion, called "easylife appsearch" when I tried to run this down load.
the browser seems unfixable now, and wont uninstall.  So I'm using chrome for this.

Well, no. I use 2.6, and I deleted old folder before installing new one :) Logfile says nothing either btw.

Guys, stop denying because it DOES infect user's computer, but it's not this download that does.

That's what I had - I had to use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to remove it completely, my AV (and NOD32 is currently the best AV on market) turned out to have ony blocked it partially. The point is that it only tries to install malware during first visit to the site, and never tries to do it again, at least for me it worked this way. So, there's no way to reproduce this issue, since you all have some experience with this site already. Maybe it can be reproduced after clearing cookies and setting proxy server, but I'm not sure.

fatty just said that it messed up his browser, so there must be something wrong with it

I think I got that too.

The name of the malware virus is "msdn.exe" it is specified as a "Heuristics.Shuriken" virus and is programmed to save in your C:\Users\PC name\AppData\Roaming\SecuROM folder. I can't be sure where it came from but I visit only trusted websites (sites I search on a regular daily basis) and I also check my PC almost everyday. I also haven't gotten any viruses nor malware in a long while now. Anyway the virus is now removed from my system and I can only hope it didn't do any harm for the time it was undetected. Other people having this issue please specify if that is your walware's name and description just to make sure we are talking about the same "virus".

Now I also do not say that it came with the mod's archive, I SUSPECT it came by opening that file-sharing webpage.
I would suggest people uploading their stuff to well known and trusted file-sharing services (No advertisment but why do you guys hate mediafire so much?! What the hell happend?  ??? )

Best regards

well I've told this multiply times:

I have no problems with this site and I have Kaspersky. Previously I was using Norton Antivirus and I had no problems also.

Mediafire doesn't works for me that is why I am using this site. It is suitable for me, because it doesn't have anything too fancy and it is easy to use.

If someone can, please upload it to mediafire and I'll add a link to the first post :)

Yes it does infect your computer first time with malware, as when I downloaded the beta version on a laptop on holiday just to have a look at the files, I got a virus that infected my firefox browser and Internet explorer with adverts, different search engine etc, it completely by passed the mcafee on there and I had to go in and find all the files manually and delete them and reinstall firefox as it was stubborn not to come off. I tried it at home in my il-2 with full release and it installed a different search engine a trojan (which was caught by avg) and a fake mcafee (which I have had numerous times, one 3 times, reinstalling the day after I uninstalled it) but it has done it since, so do not use the site if you have not been on it before and do not know how to get rid of the viruses. Just to be safe, although some of you may not have a problem like BT~wasted
