the vents cannot be made invisible, unless they are just painted on the skin. If they are part of the 3D mod, I cannot alter them becuase I do not have the expertise.

The others look promising. The ToW stuff is under rated and I really like those buildings. The Russian cottage could almost be used as is.

mandrill,

Based on your village house, I am very much looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Cheers,

A truly beautiful map CzechTexan, but unfortunately I am unable to save missions on it.
I've tested the map in both a DBW171 and a ModAct412m install and get the same error
message each time:

Any ideas on this one?

I have the same problem .   I used the Universal Static ini. checker ( checks static ini.files ), on  the" actors static "in the cztx Hengyang map folder. The results:

     Missing objects in your static.ini:

  buildings.Plate$HexagonalConcreteHangar
  buildings.Plate$HexagonalConcreteTaxi
  buildings.Plate$HexagonalConcreteTurn
  buildings.Plate$Blank
  buildings.Plate$HexagonalConcreteConnect

Thanks for the info Marvin'

In the past any missing object or texture would be in the error log
but not this time, which is why I didn't use the Static ini. checker.

Now the the question is where can those objects be found?

Sorry for the strange problems.  Poltava has a problem saving too.  I just assumed everyone had all those objects already.  I'll look more into it when I get a chance.  Hopefully someone can tell you where to get those missing objects.

anyhow, I made some simple missions so that you can at least fly on the map if you're not able to save missions.

I went through every single map folder I have. The above textures" Hexagonal concrete", are in the 3do Airfields folder,  from the Excellent Battle of Moscow Map. Now I will see if it works. Only took 1 hour to find it.

Tested, and works like a charm. I had the Hexagonal, concrete folder from a previous installation, saved in " My Texture files "  but forgot  to indicate which map it belonged to. So much for having a brain! The map now works.

Thank You Marvin T for finding a solution to the problem. I should note that everybody needs the Moscow mapand its new objects.

CzechTexan one question. Was this part of China a battlefield of the second Sino-Japanese war?

yes.  the ground battles were not until 1944 as part of the Ichigo offensive.but the air battles in this area began in 1940.with Chenault leading the Chinese Air Force and then later with the Flying Tigers and after that the 14th Air Force.I included maps in the download to show Japanese areas of occupation and their bases.
1940-44 saw Japanese air raids on US bases and US raids on Japanese bases such as Canton and Nanchang and bases on the southeast coast.  Ichi-Go offensive by Japanese 1944-45 captured almost all US bases on this map.  Chihkiang was the only main base not captured.
