I have an odd bug though. When I start up the plane in QMB and I choose myself as pilot, the mission will not advance any further than 30% loading. After waiting an appropriately long enough time (going to make a up of tea) the mission will still be at 30% loading. Pressing esc button result in game ctd back to selector ...

However if I choose the plane as an ai plane, then missions load correctly and the plane flies in mission and can be viewed and shot at ...

So that means I cannot fly the plane myself, but it does work as an ai plane.

This is for a DBW 1.71 version of the game ...

Looks like a excellent mod! Can't wait to see seaplanes taking off from cruisers!

Or a South Dakota Class Battleship, like the USS Alabama!  These and other "Fast Battleships" had their own catapults at the stern as well.
