Here you can download 5 skins of the Ki-45-Hei/Tei of the 5th Sentai, Kiyoshu Air Base, Aichi Prefecture in Japan, June 1945.

All chutai carried the same marking (white color), with no chutai distinctions.
Every plane had a inscription on the tail.
The unit marking was changed as a morale booster and was carried by 1 Hikotai machines until the end of the war.
It appears that the 5th Sentai is the only squadron of Ki-45's to use overall dark green camouflage.

Ki-45-Tei, inscription on the tail: "Kyu-to-ryu" (Nine Headed Dragon). Piloted by Capt Totaro Ito. One of the best B-29 killer (13 victories, 9 were B-29s)
Ki-45-Hei, inscription on the tail: "Hime-kage" (Glow Princes). Pilot unknown.
Ki-45-Hei, inscription on the tail: "Ecu-zen" (The Best). Pilot unknown.
Ki-45-Tei, inscription on the tail: "Jo/Dzo/-riku" (Eternal Homeland). Pilot unknown.
