I know it's just a tiny request, but I've cracked up enough DH 98 Mosquitos in night takeoffs as to be totally pissed.  The modded Mossie has no landing lights!

The orginal plane has two big flood lights that retracted into the center of each wing about mid length.  They came down by using the landing gear lever and were turned on by a switch in front of the navigator.

They can be clearly seen in every belly photo of the Mosquito.

Can someone come up with a landing light mod to spare me further embarassment?

If you lock the tailwheel (when it's lined up) you should be o.k. for Take-off.   You can put a few runway edge lights halfway down the R/W for visual reference

yes please, pictures are what it's all about in this section -
that said, i wholeheartedly agree with this request, and would go so far as to say there are many planes in the game which are lacking landing lights, or which need adjusting of landing lights.
would make for a great mod if some guy decided to tackle this as a mod across the range -
sort of like Jeronimo's spinners mod, just addressing the various landing light issues.
anyone have a spare year they could offer up as sacrifice?

you do not use landing lights like headlights on a car
use your heading indicator when taking off

I fly blind folded.
No need for night lights    I also wear my sunglasses at night

But a nice flood light would be cool , just to scare the hell out of the enemy pilots in the airplane in front of me just
before I fire on them.

There's a small update to my nightfighter mossies in the making, and who knows, maybe I will find some extra time to spare and tackle the landing lights...
