I do not know. I've never tested this pack (In fact I tested 2 minutes!).
I use a pack that I "made" from many others P-40 Mods.
It does not have all the latest news/changes... but it works perfectly in my UP2.
Test ... you can tell us if it works.

Gladly! I did and it works for me: I tried in QMB both in briefing preview (all added versions, also putting some external load) and simulation (only P-40N). I added this latter to a campaign that I'm currently building and at least it didn't cause problems, although had no occasion so far to encounter it during a mission.

Works for me... with the exception of a random CTD when my P-40 gets damaged. Usually occurs with the P-40N, which was why I installed the pack in the first place!

Epervier, did you ever cut out the P-40N for 4.09? Just curious...

I just watched the pack you mention.
It is totally different from my DIY (mine dates from 2009 to mid-2012).
This pack adds the P-40N. There are two folders P-40N.
In mine the P-40N (and others N) does not use the P-40N folder... Many of my P-40 does not have the patch wings. But it does not bother me... It is totally different !

I tried in QMB and, after having received a lot of hits from a B-17, game crashed just when my P-40N touched sea surface.  :(

Epervier, would be possible only repair this defect?

I don't get the C2D exactly but a similar freeze occurs with a Win XP error message saying something about unable to reference a RAM memory location. I'll go do it again so I can get more specific info. I have had it happen with more than one of the P-40 pack planes, including the P-40F. I'll try and get a screen capture if I can. It also happens when either my plane or an AI wingman plane get severely damaged or suddenly destroyed, such as a mid-air collision with another plane.

OK, I got a capture, here is the message including hexadecimal register and memory locations.

The instruction at "0x5ed0530e' referenced memory at "0x0000051c" The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program.

This was while flying the P-40F in QMB. I'll try with some other P-40s too to see if it happens. I may end up having to remove this mod. But I'll try updating buttons first.

I added your request to my things to check. Be patient but do not hesitate to give maximum information.
What pack do you use? ModAct 409/UP2.01 ?

Yep, that's exactly what I use!! I tried it on all P-40s except for the older Flying Tiger type that have nothing to do with this mod. I have had the error occur with all newer P-40 types except the P40E but only tried that one once. I just had it happen to the P-40M and it's exactly the same error message about the same memory or register locations. I can't figure out if it's in reference to main system ram or vram. Probably the main ram though. I did happen to have an older buttons but changed to newer one but the problems still persisted, so it has nothing to do with the buttons unless the button makers need to update them again?? I doubt that, seems to have something to do with the damage or flight model or possibly just the graphics of the planes. I'll see if I can get it to happen to the P-40E again.

Got it to happen now to the P-40E and the P-40E-M105 Russian. As soon as I switched to any other aircraft, problem went away. Seems only to be the P-40 mod planes, even the ones that came with the game ( P-40E, P-40E Russian and P-40M ) were tweaked in some way or another. I have no idea if the P-40s that came with the game were only tweaked as far as the dihedral and weapons load or if the damage and flight models were tweaked too. Something is amiss.
