Hello Fellow Rebels,

Can anyone point out some of the better ver 4.09 compatible maps, please? In particular, I am looking for Channel or West Front Maps which will work with a stock (not UP or similar mods) 4.09m installation. Or, perhaps if no such exist then a map with the extra required resources available in the download package.

I do not know any map that is not compatible with 409.
So far I've never had a problem.
The only things which he sure is:
- Have the necessary textures sometimes/often absent from the 409 version (but you can find on the forum)
- Static objects necessary. See tools: Universal static.ini checker

yes, as long as you have the necessary textures and objects that a map uses, there is no problem with maps as far as compatibility goes.
if only things were as simple with everything else, lol....

Thanks chaps. But, indeed, I do have lots of missing objects, and I have no idea where one would obtain these? For example, the gorgeous WestFront40 maps have all manner of buildings and objects in them not found in 4.09. I suspect the maps were made with 4.10 or even 4.11, perhaps?

In any event, these non-409 objects are not included in the download zips files for these maps. Ergo, how would one get them? I'll have a look at this tool, which may well identify the missing items, but still ... where to download such things?

Thanks, chaps. It does look like all the objects are in these archives, so great there. Of course, it will be loads of work to modify the static.ini, but at least I can do it, technically.

Sorry for the disturb, i am searching the old version of JV69_LYBIA_N-E for my 4.09 installation, but i have only find the new version for UP3/DBW with many new objects .

Is already possible have a link for the old version?
