Hi all,
thanks for kind words and encouragement.
I didn't have much time last weeks for Il-2, but work is slowly going on.

@Boelke: Airfields location is now OK and dgen campaigns work fine, but some objects look misplaced because of different configuration of my airfields (stay points, hangars, etc.). Tell me if it's really a problem for dgen campaigns, I can provide later a version with stock placements but this will take a few more time.

Some screens of airfields (some are finished, some not, I still have to work on textures and objects placement):

hard to say without seeing the map

the spawn points on the runway are the important thing - perhaps you will start with a V 1.0 like it is and we are able to do some trials to check if it works flawlessly? anyway, looking foreward to it :)

EDIT: the spawn points are something like this:

(runway start and end)

6619.67;58267.07;7698.93;59342.91;Volkel
4676.92;11605.21;4390.38;13215.32;Hopsten
67998.43;66433.55;69883.55;65927.30;Hohne
47520.92;22699.10;49408.05;22695.05;Rheine
84465.97;40921.37;85584.21;39324.11;Messerwerk
84195.91;19426.96;85830.21;18621.86;Sachsenheim

perhaps it´s usefull for you

Hi,

Sorry for no updates. RL don't leave me enough time since some weeks for Il2 and I lost a part of my work on the map because of my (usual) stupidity: I replaced my most recent update with an older one when trying to put my work in order   >:( :'(. Lost some airfields textures and all the winter ground textures and trees  :'(  :'(  :'( ...

I'll try to upload ASAP (before August) the version I usually use, but modified to work with default campaigns and missions. It will be a "test" version before another version that will come later with more airfields ,details and maybe some other changes.

...and sorry for my english :-[.

No problem. Take all the time you need. We are just grateful if you want to share your work:) To bad you lost some of it though.. Hate when that happens-

Your English is fine by the way:)

A question; where did you get those summer ground textures? Have you made them or have you found them somewhere else? I would love to test them out on some other maps. (Like normandy, Westfront etc.)

Have a nice summer!

Hi,
Nothing really new, just some screens to show new stock airfields (old vs. new). There's still some work to improve textures.
Spawnpoints, taxiways and staypoints, objects and trees are same than stock to make the map compatible with existing missions (just added some objects like hangars or trees). They work OK on my installs (UP3/DBW 1.71, 4.12Modact5.11), but should work with any other install.
