Really nice !
Especially how towns are flawlessly going into the fields around them.

Thanks all  :)

After some tests, it seems that existing campaigns don't work perfectly with the map because of airfields new location.

So I'm currently moving airfields on stock locations.
I planned to use specific textures for airfields, so it's now a bit time consuming to make them match with stock airdrome points.

thx for doing this, realy long awaited :)

the airfields are a vital point, if the location has changed, no dgen (and DCG) campaign will work any longer - so, realy looking forward to it

Just a little thought: is it possible to add location names to this map? It sure would help with the immersion factor.

Checking this thread daily just to see if there is any progress- lol:D

That said; take your time- looks to be worth the wait!

Hi all,
thanks for kind words and encouragement.
I didn't have much time last weeks for Il-2, but work is slowly going on.

@Boelke: Airfields location is now OK and dgen campaigns work fine, but some objects look misplaced because of different configuration of my airfields (stay points, hangars, etc.). Tell me if it's really a problem for dgen campaigns, I can provide later a version with stock placements but this will take a few more time.

Some screens of airfields (some are finished, some not, I still have to work on textures and objects placement):
