It`s a good idea to have bomb/rockets loaded on MiG-15bis, PLAAF used quite a few MiG-15bis as STURMOVIKs in the 60s and 70s

I am a complete noob here, and just returned to IL 2 because of some of these great mods...

Having spent a little time in the Mig-15 I am just hoping some expert can tone it down from an Independence Day Alien craft to a 1950's jet aircraft.

Download latest buttons - they have fixed FM for those jets.

are those new button files? Because those migs when I fly in any F86 I cant get at them.

The biggest problem is the AI's ability to run full AB forever and not overheat it seems.

Someone in another forum suggested turning of overheat for the player and said that helped.

Oh, you mean MiG-17? Download latest buttons + AI overheating mod then.

Might be a dumb question, but what is the difference between the block 25 "E" and "L" versions? The only google results that turned up were links pertaining to Il-2 mods

I've got a question about the MiG-15: is correct it does not have smoke from the engine while the F-86 does?
If i want to add it, where should i look for?

theres shouldint be smoke as u can see in this video:

( the smoke at the start is from pods.)
so it is correct.
I dont know if theres any place u can find a smoke addon for the mig-15/17.
But i think the old mig-15 made by rawners has smoke see hear:

but  its not avalible any more, u can try asking for who still has the old frankenplane.
