... I believe there is a missing TGA file in the "Textures" folder, since the gearII.mat of the Beaufort calls for a :

  TextureName ../TEXTURES/Cobertes_Rodes2.tga

 ;)

It is seen that age does not forgive, to head the mia, thank you for the report Mick.

This problem can be solved in two ways:

The simplest is to get off the Mod again, now that is fixed https://www.mediafire.com/download/9npt11vfsfy83q3/

The other is to copy the folders from the Beaufort inside the Mod wheel (#_Nuevo Mod wheels/3do/plane) since uses the same textures to this Mod.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Regards and thanks again Mick.

Jero, do you plan on fixing this atrocity?

I'm talking about the C-47A & B mod. The stock one is inaccurate beyond repair.

I have already asked PA_Jeronimo if possible to fix wheels for DC-3 version of this airplane also.
He is still working on it. We shall wait.

If there was one version already created, perhaps it should work on the rest of the same airplane?
Change the name of the files, perhaps?

:-\ I don't know if I would go so far as to call ANYTHING in our beloved game an atrocity... for without the work of our modder friends and neighbors, Il-2 may have died long ago, and for many including myself, this would mean being "grounded" from the virtual skies that give many of us wings, who may otherwise never have a chance to fly...

Jero has already released a fortunes worth in beautiful work, and is a great artist, but he cant mod ALL of the time, or else he couldn't enjoy the game that he's put some much into...

As Max has said, Jero is a diligent worker and takes careful note of our wishes, I'm sure we will see new tires in the future for this and more great planes. I will also be patient and see what happens next. For me personally I hope to see a beautiful new model for the Sturmoviks. Our title aircraft deserves a once, or twice, or three times over. But I am thankful for any gifts in the time deemed appropriate by their creators!

P.S.:
Many, many thanks Jero for ALL of your work past, present and future! My game is incomplete without them!

I just think it's weird how some aircraft are some much more accurate in the game than others. The Tu-2S had the same tires as this one. The flyables (B-25s, P-40s, P-51s, A-20s) just look more accurate then the B-24, or the C-47 variants. Jero can make these birds even more accurate. To me, he makes the game's aircraft look as detailed as in War Thunder (or even Battle of Stalingrad at times), but with the fun and realistic gameplay of IL-2 1946. Honestly, Jero's cowling fixes were the main reason I modded my game. Well, that and the B-26. And being able to fly all aircraft. But modestly Jero's cowlings.

I agree with you for sure.  :)

Jero's cowlings/spinners is the first mod into every build I set up, second is the Screenshot Propellor, then which-ever cloud mod I am using at the time. Then wheels/tires, the Mustang overhaul, Barnesy's pilots, and J-Cats stuff, followed by SAS~packs(jugs reloaded, Ultimate 109s, Claymore's 190s), and then sound mods like the female DE/GB-ground controllers. All these, I consider "requirements". :D Later, once everything is "ready", only then will I add individual planes, ships, etc.

As you usually do ... you test with the wheels of another plane ...  :P
I do the same now ...  :D

Mick, je pense que tu utilises le vieux wheels mod V5 de Barnesy/Jeronimo avec le mod C-47 de Ranwers.

I think it's the old wheels mod V5 from Barnesy/Jeronimo with Ranwers C-47 3D rework.
