I was wondering if anyone knows of or is willing to make a DCG campaign of North Africa that would work with HSFX that uses RedEye_Jir's beautiful map of North Africa. I have just played moezilla's great dcg campaign of Cyrenaica 41 and it left me wanting more of the african campaign rather than just the siege of tobruk...

Would be great to have it take place at the start of this theater so June 10 of 40 until May 13 of 43...

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am contemplating attempting this myself but it would be my first dcg campaign and I am a total noob at using the full mission builder.

Glad to hear you enjoyed my campaign. 

I had planned to build more campaigns and create a western desert grand campaign but real life got in the way.

If I was building a complete MTO campaign I'd probably build it in sections and link them into a grand campaign. There are lots of reasons for that but the two main ones for me would be complexity and flexibility. Taking it section by section allows the routes to be simpler (for the builder) and you can choose different maps for different scenarios and change the direction of attack of the attacking army if neccessary. Easier for updating and bug fixing too.

Thanks for the reply I started making one and can definitely see how doing it in sections would help out with road routes. Can you break a single map into sections for a grand campaign?

If you're talking about the North Africa map then different campaigns would use different land and sea routes files, different master mission files (to control stationary objects - AAA/trucks/planes) and have different start and end conditions (who's attacking, who occupies which locations, what the endcampaign conditions are).

I'm developing a DCG Nov 1942 - May 1943 Tunisia campaign (my first using DCG...I have created only static campaigns in the past), but I am using the Mr O Tunisia map that comes with the standard DBW install.
