Congratulations.
Tank you to fill the "black hole" of the Battle of France left aside by almost all the WWII AC simulators.
At the end passion, takes advantage upon strictly commercial behaviour.
This beautiful plane deserved it.

As a special tribute to Ranwers, and for all those that want to try his latest masterpiece over the skies of France in 1940, I've posted this campaign:

This is a semi-historical, static 17-mission campaign, set during the Battle for France 1940. You are a French fighter pilot in the  Groupe de Chasse I/3, flying the Dewoitine D.520. The campaign commences with the Blitzkrieg phase, starting on May 10, with the actions against Belgium, swiftly followed by the breakthrough at Sedan, the dash for the Channel, and finally the air actions of the final weeks before the armistice on June 25. (At this date French aerial resistance had virtually ceased, with a number surviving aircraft withdrawing to French North Africa.) Many missions in this campaign are based on actual events.

You can download it here: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=1687

This campaign is just a variant of my old campaign “Glory and Defeat”, but with a number of changes, the most important being that the player uses Ranwers new Dewoitine D.520 (instead of the Morane-Saulnier 406), plus that I've also added his Bloch MB.152 and the LeO.451, that you will see in action, and fight together with. (And as soon as Ranwers Do-17Z becomes available again, I will include that one too!) But eventually I hope to put together a new, dedicated campaign for this beauty!

With the download comes 8 skins, plus a new background tga and new French menu music.

Thanks for looking - and again, a BIG thank you to Ranwers!  :)

Yeeeeehaaaaah!
Hell yeah, Thank you so much master Ranwers, you are simply the best! Can't wait to bag some 109s with her! ;)
I'm opposite can't wait to bag some with my 109 - ;) still the D520 is a beauty! I bag a Stuka, Dornier or two with her though, perhaps even a B-24.  8)  Perhaps there is some hope for a Breguet 693 another french beauty on the horizon. ;)
Agree steph12 Ranwers ((Ranwers team?) I think SAS once said Ranwers was more than one individual) is simply the best. Well done ranwers, thank you for the lovely Dewoitine :)

Well Herr Baron, to be trully faithful I have already tried to fly against 109-E3s and it is already quite a fight with good AIs! Maybe one day we meet on the net arena  ;)! And I agree 300% for the Bréguet!

I think we cannot thank Ranwers and his team enough for all the great work!:D

@Poltava: thanks a lot for this marvelous campaign!

Er, sorry Günther but there might be a problem with the file, I just tried to d/load it and I find myself with an empty file (0.0mb)...

Just curious but what are the changes on the flight model? (I know curiosity is a bad habit... :-[)

Thanks!!!!! ;D

I got an FM that was slightly larger than the original FM ... so the download works fine.

However, I'm curious too what the differences are, especially since I don't know what to look for in the first place. I suspect this is about tweaks and balancing, things that are not always overtly obvious ...
