guys, please, it's important - if a mod is released that uses the high res textures by default, it MUST CLEARLY STATE SO in the first post.
it is, in effect, a pre-requisite and needs to be noted as such, as not everyone uses/can use the HD mod.
to save yourselves from lots of potential tech/bug questions...
and on that note, a huge thanks for this great plane!

while beta testing this cool plane, i did some color variants in my own haphazard skinning style, lol.
these are far from perfect, and based largely on my imagination, but should do in a pinch until the serious skinners get stuck in.
