Early P-51 gun muzzles
« on: May 20, 2013, 03:37:52 AM »

I've always thought that the 4 x 0.50CAL muzzle openings on the wing leading
edges are spread too far apart from each other.

IL-2'46 plane:

Real plane:

The casing ejector ports are the right width apart, but the individual muzzle openings
should be squeezed a little closer together. Maybe this could be altered in a future early
P-51 series overhaul?

HAHA you couldn't resist! Actually I did think about doing that, except that the
muzzle flashes wouldn't match the repaints. They would have to moved closer
together as well, and that's the whole point of my posty ;)
