Could it be said that the Privateer had the newest ball turret tech WWII provided?  Had the war gone on I imagine all the waist guns on B-17's and other bombers would have been replaced with the Privateer style turrets.  Very interesting plane with a rare peak at what might have been.  Hope this one gets finished and released!!!  Awesome job!

I would also like to see this finally in the sim, it seems so very long ago that we were treated to the WIP images of this superb looking Privateer by Master Ranwers. 8)

Very impressive. by definition, I guess the plane itself could be called a frankenplane. A few extra parts, some length to the fuselage, and blam.

Some of these were flown as firebombers in Ca. up till just a few yrs ago.
