It's not only taxes, we have a big net of corruption here to maximise the profits.
If some company try to sell something cheaper, they block that company in justice.

In this video we can see that even with the super taxes the car could be cheaper, but it isn't and without any reasonable reason.

Well, prices are a very flexible thing.  I´m trying to buy a camera (finepix HS 30 EXR) for my wife´s birthday, and I have found a difference of 200 euros from one place to another.

And here in Switzwerland, we are a "îlot de cherté" (island of high prices) in the middle of Europe : here, price are 30 to 60 % more expensive than in the rest of Europe...
