Matt, a few issues i feel i should mention, seeing how much i am enjoying this plane, it would be great if these issues could be addressed for a future update, if you're up to it, that is :D
firstly, the markings don't work properly, it seems to repeat the individual letter/number twice, and does kinda suck, but it's not a show-stopper.
more worrying, is the damage issues - i still have full rudder control after the rudder has been shot off, for instance.

I'll take a look. I may look into the float problem as well.
-Matt

Edit: I know what the problem is. It'll either require a load of Java coding or 3d modelling to sort it out, so no promises for now.
In short, the damage boxes specified in the Java differ from those in the .msh files - an unexpected result of combining the two typhoon mods.

I've attacked the code:
https://www.mediafire.com/?wk8lwdcxbnz649u
This is a replacement classfile. You'll need to test it; let me know if it works. If it doesn't, i'm afraid i'm stumped.
I didn't have anything to do with the numbers on the side; best off asking one of the original typhoon creators on that.

loving it, Matt, thanks mate! -
i've been ripping through Betty bombers, Ki-67's, etc with serious intent -
think i've been averaging 7 bombers per mission - and she can soak up the punishment nicely, too :D

can't say for sure yet - i've taken all kinds of damage so far, but haven't lost the rudder yet, lol.
i might have to go up against some flak for better results, 'cause the bombers seem to be struggling to shoot my rudder off... :D

Well try harder man, dammit!  :P
I've tested it quickly; lost rudder and associated control, so I assume it's ok now. Are those standard Typhoon skins by the way?

That'd be good. I'd love a green/brown scheme with SEAC markings.

Hi Matt, me again, lol - while i've been busy making a few camo skins with a basic template, i've noticed another strange issue with the spinner.
i've painted a few spinner color options, and while it shows up correctly in the 3d preview panel, but once in mission, it simply appears as an all-black spinner...
any ideas on what might be causing this, mate?

In my case the black spinner will show with engine running, once engine is off spinner turns white.

I noticed in the 3do/plane/Monsoon subfolder there is a second hier file named hier4.him. I copied the section related to the prop and pasted it in the heir.him. It gives the plane a four bladed propeller with a skinnable  spinner.
