thanks mate, i'll check it out.
i'd only been testing with airstarts, so never noticed the stationary spinner.
thanks again for the headsup, will post back with results once i've got around to doing it. ;)

cool, that seems to have done the trick - one last question, previously i could paint the spinner on the individual skins, but now it seems to be using another tga for the spinner, probably the default skin (haven't checked yet) - would be nice if i could paint it on individual skins, but i'm not sure how to go about doing it since it uses the 'master'/default now.....
or maybe i just need to figure out exactly where it goes on the skin, 'cause it doesn't seem to be working as it did previously, lol
anyway, i'll keep on pressing on and see what i can do. ;)

nah, no luck - i'm ready for advice on how to find whichever texture is now controlling the spinner, as i can't find it - it doesn't seem to use the default skin, and any changes i make now have no effect.
any suggestions welcomed at this point.....again, lolz :D

 Malone,

The color of the spinner appears to be controlled by  changes done in skin1oB.tga and skin1pB.tga,

Another suggestion, one I have not looked into yet, is taking the appropriate files from the Tempest if they are skinnable and use them on the Monsoon.

i'll carry on investigating as time permits, thanks mate ;)
of course, if anyone who knows a bit more about this wants to chip in, in the meanwhile, they are more than welcome :D
the ideal solution would be closer to as it was originally, where i could easily paint the spinner on individual skins, but it would just need to maintain its colors when it starts spinning, as opposed to suddenly turning black.
thanks again for all assists so far! :D

- Good handling characteristics
- Strong engine
- Powerful armament
- And A LOT OF PLACE FOR LANDING :)

I'm still thrilled after successful mission end...

(Installed on DBW 1.71, no issues)

Hello!
Thanks for this plane! :)
Here is a small patch for 4.12 game version.
It changes implement SailPlane to SeaPlane.
Enjoy ;)

Take it here.
