Yea, definitely need a fine tooth comb review of the static.ini in windmerge to pull in the 4.12 stuff relative to the stuff required for all the hsfx maps and updates.  All appears working fine, but definitely want to check for 4.12 stuff to keep it in play where possible.

I also had the hsfx 3do sfs files in play vs automount and it was working, but noticed that some loadouts were not working correctly, so rolled those sfs files out.  Now only maps are working well.

All in all, hopefully the merge of 4.12 and hsfx will not be too bad, at least from maps and 3do perspective.  Air FMs and expert mode may be different story.

Wind, when HSFX 7.0 or what ever they call it, then we can do the same as what we did for 4.11....

Maybe these configs can help?

Is there a detailed changelog for 4.12? If you know what to look for, merging 4.12's content into the above files might just be a lot less tedious.

Heretic, I have exactly what you posted in my HolyGrail Install, and I have put the DBW and UP SFS Maps, Objects, and Tex. Files in my SFS_Auto Foklder for SAS MA5.11, Every thing works. Only I have tried all of the JetWar Criteria with only Fail to starts. So we have to wait for thos Mods to be re coded for 4.12. I did try though, lol

The sfs files are one thing, but what about the .inis and .property files?

Also, just to make sure, can I add the entry for the SFS_Auto folder to any game version's .rc?
I don't want to have multiple copies of UP's, DBW's, HSFX' .sfs files in my IL-2 folder, so I was thinking about just putting them all into SFS_AUTO and then just adding the SFS_Auto entry to DBW's and HSFX' .rc files. That way, I'd have the .sfs files active regardless of the game version in use.
