Thank you Helen. Thats the look I am going for. It has been many months since the base was bombed and abandoned. The grass after a fire will grow green again but trees may take longer. I will keep looking for objects to make this look better. :)

Wait a minute Bombsaway! Wait a minute!
You havenĀ“t seen the really great airplane hangars I am still painting and retexturing.
These new ones are really proper aircraft hangars and they are medium to large size.
Great for all nations to use!
They will look good on any deserted islands with wild and savage cannibals.
You do have a few cannibals, right?
What do you mean you dont have one?  I will send you one or 2 of them to your party ;D
You will end up reworking your entire island scenes just because of these 6 new destroyed hangars.
Its funny how you decided to use those palm trees around your scene. Just last week I reworked
the same 2 sets of palm trees (the first 2 folders in the palms 3do section) in that group to have a pine-tree texture and some little wiggly
branches on top. I was tryong to invent a new "destroyed" tree to place on WW1 maps of the
Somme battle. But they still look like palm trees  :D
Anyway,
I just need 3 or 4 more days to adjust the coloring+details to look better in the game and the
damaged roof and doors. I must test and see them in the game to paint all the
details the way I like them, but first I have to finish these other models.
At the present moment I am painting a new _________ :-X  (its a surprise)

GREAT!!!!!  Thats exactly what I need. Also, do you think you make some splintered palm trees? We have ones that looked burned but none that are broken from bomb blasts.  Instead of the canibals I could use some skeletons. Maybe somne still in uniforms. I know, I'm getting a little morbid with it. :)

At least I'm not asking for zombies. :p

Are you going through my Top-Secret List of new objects to create?   ???
:D AAAAHAHAHAHA. Its great that we are thinking on the same things.
I tell you what, I have an idea. It might work. I have retexture my 2 sets of palm trees
to have pine-tree trunks and the leaves to be shaped like twigs. The overall visual
look I am looking for is for WW1 battlefield destroyed trees, as you often see in WW1
photos. After I placed a few hundred of them on the Western Front map, they still
look like palm trees, but destroyed palm trees. I will retexture them again for you and send
them for you to test in your map tomorrow.
As for the dead guy, I was thinking of using my 2 wounded guys in the stretcher. I have
2 new guys that I have not released to the public yet, but you have seen some screenshots
before as WIPs. Those need to be better painted still. For one of the models I have an idea to
remove the stretcher from under him and make him into a skeleton dead guy  :P  :D
It is defenitly morbid looking idea, but also useful for many scenarios.
Dead guy skeleton on the island beach (Robinson Crusoe?), dead guy skeleton in the Sahara desert, dead guy skeleton on the WW1 battlefield, dead guy skeleton waiting for someone to come and
pick up his bones!  :D
I already have a list with over 40+ new objects I would like to see and we do not have yet, but
they will take sometime to create and paint properly.
I will say, give me ... 2 weeks!  ;D

They look great. :)  Do you think it would be hard to "break" a set so it looks "splintered"? Bent over and broken. Like from a bomb going off next to it.
