CASA 2.111 "Pedro", the last of the many
« on: June 29, 2013, 08:10:17 AM »

        Hi,

I am pleased to announce that Bison_M has made a franken of the CASA 2.111, the HE-111 with Merlin engines. The HE 111H-16 airframe was given lancaster engine cowls and some other changes and now you can fly it as a CASA 2.111.

Download link:
https://www.mediafire.com/download/gwtw7ec05e6ckah/He-111H-16_as_CASA_2.111.rar

You need the HE-111H-16 from this pack:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,31076.0.html

In the He-111H-16 folder, copy and overwrite the files wit hthe ones in the download link above. Remember to back up the H-16 folder, please! It takes the H-16 slot.

Hello guys, superb addition for the He-111 series it would definately be worth a slot of its own, I do hope someone can do that. 8)

I have been playing around with one of the Spanish skins and a panel finder for the last few hours and here is roughly where the paint needs to be altered for the new 3D:

Unfortunately with any mod like this you will probably not manage to get everything as you would like because things tend to map into other areas, here is what this bird looks like with my test skin:

Hopefully you can see from these rather small images that there are issues around the gondola, fuselage in front of the wing leading edge  and other areas such as the air scoops on the engines.

May I suggest a nice polite PM to the original author of these rather superb Spanish skins to ask if he/she would please look at the first image I show and could they please adapt their template to include the changes necessary to adapt the skins specifically for this mod. ;)

It would take quite a bit of fiddling with the template to hopefully get everything lined up, worth the effort I think, sadly without the actual template I would not be willing to go the whole route of producing a new set of skins for this mod but hopefully the original author who obviously had an interest in these aircraft might do so if asked in the right way. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Gumpy hits it! God gumpy, you fixed the old Spanish CASA a lot. Can you post some skins, as I see that you have now made a default skin that fits pretty good.    ;)  :D

Thanks gumpy! Do I just take Redfox's Prop and gear fix and pop it into the H-16 folder? Thank you.  :)
