From longer distance (and at high speed) it really looks like Su-17 and can be used as one in Afghanistan scenarios. I think you've just smacked two birds with one stone, Bison =]
Thank you for rating! Yes, they are very similar to the Su-7U and Su-17 because of the fairing. Su-7 it had not yet, and the Su-7U he already was. And so they are similar to the Su-17UM ...

Su-7 and SU-7U

SU-17UM

Yes, I think it would be logical to make pack Su-7's and Pak Su-9's.

Tested in 4.10.1.m+SASModakt3.6  and  4.11.1m+ SASmodakt4 !
All credits to GJE52 and his great L-159G and L-159F!

Hello everyone !  :)
The appearance of the Yak -36 SMF (like Harrier) has allowed us to come close to creating missions of the Falklands War . There are maps and almost all the planes ... I have not found one of the active participants of the crisis on the part of Argentina -French  carrier-borne strike fighter - Super Etendard.

Little transformation - and so:

Version for use with the air base -L-159G

Version for use with an aircraft carrier - L-159F

installation:

Unzip to a folder MODS, DBW  etc.

Nothing has changed in the air.ini

For the default skin using  skin L-159F - "RN 250" - thanks GJE52!
I allowed myself to dream a little and made a Franken-skins for the L-159 for the Argentin`s Super Etendard . I hope the authors will not mind. :-\

I apologize for the bugs in 3D and DM, position of the air intakes.

Enjoy!  ;)

Bison

Is it some sort of aircraft from Dassault?

Because it looks like a Mirage 2000D.

And the only reason why I even guessed the Mirage 2000D was because of the french markings.
