ahoy ahoy. got this wonderful little aircraft with the TFM pack, but it seems they used an outdated version, which gave problems with replacing the original stock ki-43-I cockpits... i was able to fix that, by just giving instructions on how to update to the latest F1M-Pete version so thats not a problem, but while doing that i noticed:

the animated controls inside the cockpit rotate around the wrong axes?. like the rudder pedals should rotate left/right around their center when pushed, but they animate up/down, and the throttle is rotated 90 degrees clockwise into the cockpit moving wrong. flightstick rotates wrong too.

just wanted to at least report my findings here,

cheers.

deci!

Still has that problem in 4.12 where when it lands, it circles around and won't go to the seaplane dock.

But at least it has a rear gunner.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh - SPECIFICS.  When the word 'problem' is bandied about please be SPECIFIC! ie; Are you flying this in FMB, with a fully constructed mission or even a campaign? - Or are you just pissing about in QMB which lacks much of the subtlety and tuning of FMB? - Can you post the mission? - If not you aren't really in control of events or offering a fair test.

In FMB for example; if you encounter an AI return problem (SPECIFIC to: Map/Runway Type & Location/Timing/No. of AI/Targets/Mission Type/Loadout/AI Threats/Waypoint Instructions) where all other conventional landing instructions fail, use a DZ point to rem the AI at a suitable spot.  This would usually be a single AI in any case as you would not historically expect to see great formations of the damn things.  If you are talking Human pilot landing then you should be landing it yourself...

;D thanks for the first 'mild' rant of 2015 - and HAPPY NEW YEAR! ;D

Just because the downloads may have dropped off shouldnt mean you remove it. Just as it was requested today some may see this and want it in the future. Your work is appreciated.
