Early jets` canopy roundness

Hello everyone. I must admit I`ve been a little spoiled by nice new round realistic cowlings, propellers and wheels made by PA_Jeronimo, and encouraged by Red_Fox90`s work on Corsair canopy, I decided to make a request here regarding F9F, F-80, F-86 and MiG-15 and their canopies. So here are some screenshots:

To compare some shots, here is the F9F vs Meteor canopy:


I`m not trying to diminish anyone`s work, just observing some old models compared to the new ones. I believe that canopy roundness is the detail that greatly influences the overall appearance of the plane... Thank you.

I see what you are trying to say but, looking at your screen shots, it seems a bit of a cheek to request 3d work when to get close enough to see the difference the skin detail is so poor it looks far worse than the canopy defect you are complaining about.....  :P

Some shots are a little close, yes, but it shows the difference between an old and a new model... The backlight shots hide the skins a bit while highlighting the canopies... Its not a complaint from me, its just a suggestion to make those jets look more real and smooth, and If you look an the F4U canopy fix, It really makes a difference...

Some say that if you say 3 times "Red_Fox" in a thread at night, 3d works will appear in the visual section of the SAS site









I'm having some health issues lately and i can only focus on smaller works. So, i don't guarantee all of the fixes you asked for will be soon readily available, but let's see what we can do...

Are you kidding me Red_Fox90? You had that F9F and Sabre in WIP or you really did it in one day? Look at that Panther, she looks awesome! Hope you get well soon man, your health is no.1, everything else can wait... And thank you for making those canopies, they look awesome!
