Did two West Pacs on her with VA-94 in 86 and 88, was on there when they used it for Top Gun.............. 

Also April 18, 1988 Operation Preying Mantis.............. I got in trouble last time I posted links so you guys can google it yerself....

I was ships company on the Constellation 79 to 82, and the deck plan was just the same, only the propulsion and Island were different.................

Went thru the Suez Canal on the Big E too... that was weird... would been easy to shoot an RPG or lob a Mortar round from behind a dune.........

Oh yeah, the Connie had an escalator on the starboard side running from the second deck to the 03 level (just under flight deck 04), it never worked but made for a nice work out running up and down it....lol
