As long as there's some discussion on other games as well as IL-2 mods:

Rather than original LOMAC, I'd recommend getting the DCS World (free with Su-25) and then get whatever extensions you like (wait for a sale if you can).

If you do have LOMAC, I think it can be integrated to the DCS World with the Flaming Cliffs 3 add-on.


Then there's the Falcon BMS which is basically a re-worked Falcon 4...

Preferably with the fastest, most B.A. aircraft that some genius has been able to mod into the game. I see posts about a MiG-21 and F-4 Phantom II, but is there anything more modern available?

Sorry if I seem obstinate, but "figure it out yourself" isn't very helpful.

.. newbie or not, our download sections are clearly labelled .. if you want jets then it does not need a lot of thought to know where to look.... just a wild guess, but in the Jet section perhaps.....   

No one knows what floats your particular boat so " go to the jet section, download the required mods and try them out" would seem like sensible advice to me.
