after searching the internet for some good pictures for my dad i came across this interesting specimen



The Messerschmidt Me-262B2 turboprop variant
this is more a what-if variant but designs where made albeit very few

performance figures cannot be found due to it never leaving the drawing board
but it is a very interesting design and its performance can be decided by any modder willing to pick up this variant




its a bit of an unusual design but we do love our what-if planes

A few years back someome was working on the next evolution of the Me-262
jet fighter project, both for the one seater as well as for the 2-seater versions.
The aircraft I am talking about is the Variant II, with the jet engines placed closely
to the fuselage. More fast and sleek looking.
I still have this mod on my files, although the modder (I forgot who it was) gave up and
abandoned this project    It was never completely finished.
More than the "turbo-prop" version seen here, this other next generation
jet version was next in line for mass production by Germany if the war would continue
on through 1946 as was described on some important papers found after the WW2.
Perhaps this might be a nice project for you Mister Mikoyan99.

I must post his name on my folder of the unfinished aircraft so I will not forget.

I have never passed it on to anyone else. It is still his project, unless mister Riken
says otherwise and passes it on to someone else to finish it.

... requests are fine - when they are requests. 

Wishing to be able to do something is different, and that can be achieved if you really want something. All the help and advice on 3d modding is freely available here and guys like me always help those who want to learn and improve their craft. I am still learning something with every new idea I try out. The trick is to start small (a single static object is a good jumping off point) and make small steps with each new idea.  . There are not enough modders to even come close to addressing a fraction of the requests that flood the section as it is, plus a lot of modders like me tend to make stuff that they are interested in, (which comes back to the reason why I started doing this in the first place)
