This name "Kurza Stopka" (Hen's Foot) I found at wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandomierz_Castle
Yes, You are right, this kind of architectonic object (kind of castle's corner tower) in general is called in Polish "Kurza Stopka"

That fort has a cool moat. Will it have crocodiles in it? I think they're in the objects pack somewhere? I'm part way through making a 1916-1920 campaign for an Imperial Russian player. So many of the missions will take place on this map when it's released.

Hi,
I think the moats can be inhabited better by bears, after drying them in advance, of course.  ;)

Hi, ls,
here is first trial of Sandomierz castle elevation.
Perhaps you would give some proposal as for this castle? Namely, the "Kurza Stopka" (Hen's Foot) ?

Hi, Uzin, here is my idea for Sandomierz Castle (it was quite difficult to find something similar to "Hen's Foot" ;-))).

Does anybody know what type of the font was used in 1939 for naming of the German railway stations ?
Was it schwabach as in the first pictuire:

or latin  type of the font as in the second picture ?

It probably varied from place to place, depending on the architect.

I'd got for the first one. They still used a similar font for books too.

@mandrill and David:
Thanks for your posts, but I assume there must have been some  official  prescription  regulating this in such a regime as in Germany 1939, and especially at Reichsbahn. So I would like to follow the most historical picture, if anybody can help.

Another info lacking is that on Polish railway stations and the prescriptions concerned.
Thank in advance any informed soul.  ;)

Here are some URLs with pics. Looks like they used both fonts.

 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2387682/The-abandoned-Nazi-railway-station-mountains-fell-disrepair--hides-secret-laboratory-researching-dark-matter.html

Canfranc  with sign. Just scroll down.

http://www.thirdreichruins.com/nuernberg.htm
Scroll down and near the bottom left; you’ll see a building with a Deutsche Reichspost sign in the nold style.

http://www.thirdreichruins.com/berlin.htm
It looks like the postcards and train station signs used the old font, and streets the new.

http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/06/21/mysteries-of-a-nazi-photo-album/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0
Scroll down to the pic of Hitler meeting Horthy. The sign is old style.

http://www.deutschebahn.com/en/group/history/topics/platform17_memorial.html
Try the send email thing, and ask them about station names.

http://www.holocaustresearchproject.org/ar/artransports.html

Scroll down. You’ll see Treblinka.

http://www.tracesofevil.com/2008/01/munich-reich-press-office.html

Scroll down. You’ll find HAUPT BANHOF

cheers
