As far as I know, there was also so-called Ostravian operation on the south Poland and Silesia border, in 1945, where Czech pilots fought under leadership of Frank Fajtl.
This is the map I'd like to see!  The Battle of Ostrava was the largest battle on Czech soil (Bohemia & Moravia) during WW2.  Hitler was desperate to hold on to the industrial region of Silesia.

Well, at worst, i can learn to do it by myself, it was my intention for this map.
But , ar least, you and everybody else can help to create the list of necessary landsmarks , don't you ?

Searching for real castles, churches and monuments in the real area? Sure I can do that. How do you want it? Using google earth I can make a list with the name of the town, village plus a pic. Is that?

I mean the list of objects you (and everybody else ) consider to be necessary to be  included in the map. Perhaps about ten landsmarks would be nice ? The name and location of the object would suffice, other work is upon me.

Hello Uzin, if You're going to place Krakow on Your map, I can try to collect necessary landmarks. I can't make them in 3D anyway. Maybe we can try to create these landmarks using compilations of original objects from stock il-2 and DBW?
