Yes, Krakow will be there:
Hurra!!!
So I think in Cracow most important (for Il-2 purposes of course) will be airfield in Balice (here we must use our imagination, cause there aren't preserved photos, only some short written relations - now here is toll-gate on highway A4), and airbase in Rakowice (attacked by Luftwaffe on 1st Sept 1939 - now museum, where is held last survived P-11c). I could try to recreate them using objects from DBW 1.71.
Other landmarks in the city are: Wawel Castle (on the hill on the river bank of Vistula), some Cracow churches (which can be created using for example Slovakia castles and churches), big Rakowice Cemetery. There are some plans and maps from 30's (when Cracow was much smaller than now). Any further suggestions from Poland?

Cracow must have the Barbican. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krak%C3%B3w_barbican

And we will need the Modlin fortress too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modlin_Fortress where the Poles defended themselves for a good while. North of Warsaw.

Now searching for more info.

Thanks to everybody who kindly supplies with such marvellous data !

A year ago, I saw a poster at the garden of Polish embassy in Prague
showing the aerial sight at Wroclaw and I decided that one of my next Il2 maps must be Poland.
I hope some of the objects are modelled in e.g. Sketchup, so it might be of some help, even if not directly
importable to Il2.
