Placed textures for 185 cities as the basis for autopop ,  revised rivers and lakes. Btw, Finland is known as the country of thousand lakes, but Poland is very similar. Purified the net of railways and higways - doubled pixel points removed . After completing the river revision, I am going to make autopop templates for Country0, City0, City1 and City2. I have a question: what is the correct order: autopop first, the bridges then, or vice versa ?

LOL - If you keep clicking through Uzin's photobucket selection, you reach the most attractive map of Poland I have ever seen! But I am confused. Is this the Warsaw area? Or Cracow?

I don't think IL2's game engine can recreate scenery and landscaping like that!  :-*

When will be ready ?
Work started on September, 1st, 2013.
I suppose it will take about one year, like as similar size maps made of scratch.

Monthly report - Nov.2013
« Reply #119 on: November 30, 2013, 10:30:22 AM »

This month the city textures were positioned on the proper locations, templates for autopop prepared, airfields positioned with default ones as placeholders, some phototextures of historical centres of Breslau (Wroclaw) and Krakow prepared, and the manual building of bridges started. After reaching about 360 bridges, my rig (7 years old) spoiled the output of visual signal in a manner shown below , This happened second time this autumn. Perhaps anybody can give any advice ?
I am almost decided to buy new rig.
What about this one ?
MSI GS70 2OD-033CZ Stealth    ?

N.B. This report was written and sent using my old 486 rig witn Win98.
