Thanks for the rear gunner Matt.

Works fine other than this ;)

Cheers,
Ed

P.s. Any chance of putting an actual Browning mg in that position? Just asking.  :)

Other than the canopy frames not matching the skin now it worked like a charm in 4.10.1 with DBW 7.1.  ;D

Thanks zip_comic1.  ;)

Mikoyan... first of all, thanks !

I have seen the same thing as Edlor for the rear gunner.

But also, I have seen that, in external view, the front windshield is now black. But from inside the plane, no problem : it is transparent.

Hi Gaston,

For the black glass in external view give this a try. It worked for me.

Go to:
Kingfisher\3do\Plane\OS2U
Open with notepad: Blister4_D0.msh
and change material: Gloss1D0o to Glass2

Cheers,
Ed

Damn, I thought i'd sorted that! Edlor is right; that is the solution. I may re-upload this evening if I get the chance.

WRT to the gunner - the canopy does open; just open it before going into combat to avoid the clipping issues.

With the new version (with rear gunner) in 5.12, I'm getting "busted floats" when starting on the water.

The old version (4.09) in 5.12 works correctly (but of course has no gunner)

Damn again; I know why that is. I'll have a look into it when I get the chance.

Edit: hang on, that should be ok - 5.12 what exactly? It's ok in 4.12 on mine?

For me, the glass fix doesn't work in the new version of the Kingfisher (although it did in the old version). In fact, in the new version, there is no line in Blister4 which reads "Gloss1DO". It simply says "glass" and changing to "glass2" does nothing. There is still a small black panel on the lower right corner of the cockpit glass.

Also, in the new version, when using the default skin, half of the central pontoon is white, the rest blue. No problems with the alternate skins.

Thanks.
