hello guys;
just noticed in my 4.10 install that the catapult launch from the IOWA ships does not work any longer due to the V1.5 Kingfisher crashing into the ship immediately;
does anyone have an idea why? it still works with the old original pre 1.5 Kingfisher though;
and as the mission launches normally, I do not have any log file to post...

EDIT: with the version provided by zip, the catapult take off does work too, its just the V1.5 update that is troublesome in this regard...

Ok, this is getting odd - i'll investigate tonight. Although Ill point out that the catapult version is distinct from mine; and I seem to remember Ten010 making some mods to the mapping.

Ok, i've dne some digging - the vast majority of your problems are down to you all installing ten010's update and not telling me you had it installed it. That's wasted a good hour of my evening; please think before asking questions!

I have spent a little time on sorting out some of the issues - i'll try and upload a 1.6 version in the next few days; hang on for that before making any more statements please. I intend to include a new default skin and the 3D updates from ten010's mod, although not the catapult elements.

Ah sorry mikoyan for the troubles I have caused you...i thought that it was clear that i had updated the Iowa to have the cat launch working.
AFAIK only the Iowa needed updating as the stock Kingfisher (1.01 me thinks) was not touched by ten's modification but I could be wrong about that.
Anyhow thamk you very vry much for your continued support...if you need some testing done in 4.10 you can count on me......

With the new version (with rear gunner) in 5.12, I'm getting "busted floats" when starting on the water.

The old version (4.09) in 5.12 works correctly (but of course has no gunner)

Damn again; I know why that is. I'll have a look into it when I get the chance.

Oops..I mean 4.12.2,  5.30
PS I made sure I removed the old version, along with the ini.
PSS The glass fix worked for me.
The AC lands correctly, and once landed, will take off normally, but has broken floats when spawned on water.


Edit: hang on, that should be ok - 5.12 what exactly? It's ok in 4.12 on mine?

The F1M works fine.

Ok, well I think it;ll have to wait for now. This isn't a new problem!

Yep - like I keep saying, it's not compatible with ten010's update.

Did Zip's version suffer from the float problem, out of interest?
